About This Calculator

This calculator counts only weekdays (Monday–Friday), excluding weekends and optionally public holidays for the selected country. It's useful for calculating project timelines, contract notice periods, delivery lead times, and any deadline that runs on business days rather than calendar days.

Public holidays are pre-loaded for the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and India based on fixed and observed dates. Regional holidays (e.g. state-level public holidays in Australia or the US) are not included — only national public holidays. All calculations run in your browser.

How to Use

  1. Select a country to include its public holidays, or choose "None" for weekdays only.
  2. In Days Between mode, select a start and end date to count working days.
  3. In Add Working Days mode, enter a start date and number of working days to find the resulting date.
  4. Any public holidays falling in the range are listed below the result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — this calculator uses the standard Monday–Friday working week. Saturday and Sunday are always excluded regardless of the country selected. If your organisation has a different working week (e.g. Sunday–Thursday in some Middle Eastern countries), you'd need to adjust the result manually.

Working day counts typically follow the convention of counting from the day after the start date — the same way a 5-day working week runs Monday to Friday but you'd say "5 working days" not "6". If your use case requires counting the start date, add 1 to the result.

No. All calculations run entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server.
