How to Play Sudoku
Sudoku is a logic-based number placement puzzle played on a 9×9 grid divided into nine 3×3 boxes. The objective is to fill every cell with a digit from 1 to 9 such that each row, each column, and each 3×3 box contains all nine digits exactly once. No maths is required — only logic. A valid Sudoku puzzle has exactly one solution, and this generator ensures every puzzle can be solved through deduction alone.
Easy puzzles reveal more given digits and require simpler techniques. Hard and Expert puzzles require advanced strategies such as naked pairs, hidden singles, and X-wing patterns. The timer tracks your solve time and mistakes are counted automatically — try to finish with zero!
How to Play
- Choose a difficulty level and click 🔄 New Game.
- Click a cell to select it, then click a number from the numpad below the board (or press a number key on your keyboard).
- Use the Erase button or press Backspace/Delete to remove an entry.
- Use 💡 Hint to reveal the correct value of the selected cell.
