Data we do not collect

All PocketTools tools run entirely in your browser. This means:

Text you enter into tools (JSON, passwords, code, etc.) is never sent to our servers
Files you drag and drop are processed locally and never uploaded
We do not store any tool inputs or outputs
We do not require an account or any personal information to use any tool

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location (country/city level). We use this data to understand which tools are most useful and to prioritise what to build next.

Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We display advertisements via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and your browsing history to serve personalised ads. You can manage your ad personalisation settings at adssettings.google.com.

Local storage

We store your dark/light mode preference in your browser's localStorage under the key th-theme. This is the only data stored locally on your device by PocketTools. It is never sent to our servers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PocketTools after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
