Pomodoro Timer
Stay focused with timed work sessions and breaks โ the Pomodoro technique in your browser.
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The core idea is simple: work in focused 25-minute sessions (called "pomodoros"), then take a short 5-minute break. After four pomodoros, take a longer 15โ30 minute break. This cycle helps maintain sustained concentration, reduces mental fatigue, and builds a natural rhythm of productive work and deliberate recovery.
Research supports the value of structured breaks for maintaining focus and avoiding burnout. This timer runs entirely in your browser tab โ no sign-up, no app install. Customise the session lengths to match your own focus style: some people prefer 50-minute focus blocks, others 15-minute sprints. The timer updates the browser tab title so you can track time while working in another tab.
