About This Currency Converter
This converter fetches live exchange rates from the Frankfurter API, which sources its data from the European Central Bank. Rates are updated every weekday. The converter supports over 170 currencies including all major fiat currencies. Results are calculated from USD as the base currency to ensure consistent cross-rates.
Exchange rates shown are mid-market rates — the midpoint between buy and sell prices. Banks and currency exchange services add a spread on top of this, so actual transaction rates will differ. For large transfers, always check with your bank or a specialist currency service for exact rates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Rates are sourced from the European Central Bank via the Frankfurter API and are updated every weekday. Rates are not available on weekends or ECB holidays — on those days the most recent available rate is shown. For real-time rates (updated by the second), you'd need a premium financial data provider.
The rates shown here are mid-market rates — the midpoint between buy and sell prices on the interbank market. Banks, airport kiosks and currency exchange services add a markup (spread) on top of this, plus fees. This markup is typically 1–4% for major currencies and higher for exotic ones. Services like Wise typically offer rates much closer to the mid-market rate.
No personal data is stored. The tool makes an API request to fetch exchange rates — no amounts, currencies you searched, or any other personal data are sent or stored anywhere.
