Breakout
Smash every brick with your ball โ don't let it fall off the bottom!
How to Play Breakout
Breakout is a classic arcade game originally released by Atari in 1976. The player controls a paddle at the bottom of the screen and must bounce a ball up to break bricks arranged at the top. Every brick you destroy scores points, and some bricks require multiple hits to destroy. The game ends when all bricks are cleared (you advance to the next level) or when the ball falls past the paddle three times (game over).
As levels progress, the ball moves faster and brick layouts become more challenging. The ball angle changes based on where it strikes the paddle โ hit the edges of the paddle to send it at a sharper angle. On desktop, move your mouse to control the paddle. On mobile, drag your finger.
